Anne's Randomness

Here goes nothing...

Hi, my name is Anne, and I'm an author-holic. (Hi Anne.) It has been... *checks clock* one hour since I last worked on a story...
Okay, just kidding, hope I didn't offend anyone, but writing is really like that for me. It pulls me in, holds onto me, doesn't want to let me go, and by all I hear from my readers, I generally manage to extend that feeling to them as well!
Welcome to the blog of Anne B. Walsh. I haven't always been as good at this particular form of communication as I would like, but I'm going to give it one more try, with a bit more focus than I had last time. To wit:
  • A long time ago, as the Internets go, I used to hold "Trycanta Tuesdays", when I would tell a story from my world of Trycanta in a certain Internet chat room. In honor of that, Tuesdays on my blog -- not counting today, of course! -- will be my day to give some news about the Tales of Anosir, or other Trycanta-set stories.
  • If Trycanta has Tuesdays, then my other big fantasy universe, the Chronicles of Glenscar, should have Thursdays. Not as alliterative, sadly, but there aren't any days of the week starting with C or G, so "Glenscar Thursdays" it shall be. This applies also to the modern spinoff of Glenscar called "Fifteen".
  • Saturday will be my day to report on progress in my other original writing, whether that's my sci-fi debut novel Killdeer (coming soon to a website near you), my short story collaborations with Elizabeth Conall (likewise), or the 2013 Christmas special, whenever that comes around. Suggestions, by the by, are welcome!
  • Sunday, as a day of rest, will be dedicated to my "fun" writing -- that is, my fan fiction, the Harry Potter AU known as the Dangerverse. It will also be the time when you get reports on the life of Anne B. Walsh, which could be anything from griping about my church choir to funny cat stories to "holy crap the roof fell in".
So, welcome to my blog... third time's the charm, right? Here's hoping! I will, of course, continue updating my Facebook page daily, but now on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, there will be a little more detail on whatever's up, given right here! Thanks so much for reading, and check back often!

The roof hasn't actually fall in, has it? Wait, did I hear this one already?

Elizabeth: The roof did NOT fall in. You would have heard. Scott: Many thanks! Geoffrey... mwahahahaha! My laugh, it is an evil one.

Best of luck to you - on your intentions for this blog, your writings in general, and all other endeavours!

Welcome to the AA (Author's Anonymous, of course). Or, since you've been writing far longer than I, perhaps I should be saying hi, instead. Alright, here goes: Hi, my name is Geoffrey, and I'm a writ-a-holic. I've written poetry (sonnets on request), prose, and... and fanfiction. I also admit I enjoy reading the same. Wait a sec. This is a writing group posing as a recovery group, isn't it? Confound it all, I'll never get cured!
