It seems, in my life, to be either all or nothing. Either I ignore almost everything in the world around me, do just the bare minimum of chores to get by, and write like the dickens, or I get quite a lot done around the house by means of ignoring the writing. Which is one reason why you, O readers, have not seen many chapters lately.
Another reason, sadly, is that my emotional state is still a bit precarious, and I'm approaching some very affecting moments in the main line of the Dangerverse. But then, what did you expect, when the next chapter in the Surpassing Danger lineup is called "Lives and Deaths", and the one after that is called "Locked and Barred"?
I do have a good bit of a chapter of The Spell of Sealing written, and may be able to work on that some tomorrow, since that's not at nearly so sensitive a point. It'll get there eventually, I'm sure, but for the moment I'm still having fun exploring the magic systems of creatures like wise wolves and centaurs, who don't have (or need) wands.
As for the neglected stories on my page... as much as it pains me, I have to admit that most of them are neglected because my motivation and ideas for them have long since departed. I know that a lot of you would like to see them continued, but except for The Lion, the Snake, and the Safe Room, I don't know that they will be. Sorry.
In random news, happy March! To anyone along the east coast of the US, are you all getting the same dump of snow that we are here in Pittsburgh? I walked Brando today and it was up to his puppy knees in places. Wore him out a little bit plowing through it, but he's still got plenty of energy to pounce all over Buddy and demand playtime.
So, since there doesn't seem to be much more to share, I shall sign off. Thanks to everybody who's keeping up with my crazy life, and I will attempt to reward your attention with some nice chapters as soon as I can. And, of course, more blog posts. Possibly even on the more usual weekdays this week. Who knows? Life is weird...
